The Lab is a paid online membership operated by Vinci Advisory, a sole trader run by Toby from Victoria, Australia. In these terms "we", "us" and "The Lab" mean Vinci Advisory. "You" means the person who signs up for a membership. You can reach us at toby@vinciadvisory.com.au.
A paid Lab membership gives you access to the member area while your subscription is active. That includes:
We may change, add or remove features over time. We will not make a change that strips out the core of what you are paying for without giving you a chance to cancel.
The Lab is A$97 per month, charged in advance. Prices are in Australian dollars and include any applicable GST. Payment is handled by Stripe. You authorise us to charge the payment method you give Stripe for each monthly renewal until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal link in your account. When you cancel, your membership continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that your access ends. We do not pro-rate partial months. You can rejoin later at the price in effect at that time.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything done through your account. One account is for one person. Do not share your login. If you think your account has been accessed by someone else, email us straight away.
By using The Lab you agree not to:
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is serious or ongoing we may do so without a refund.
Toby owns the videos, written lessons, templates and other materials inside The Lab. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view and use them inside The Lab for as long as your membership is active, and to apply what you learn in your own business.
You keep ownership of anything you post inside The Lab (comments, questions, examples). By posting it you give us a licence to display, store, back up and show it to other members inside The Lab, and to quote it anonymously in future lessons. We will not sell your posts or use them in paid ads without asking you first.
If The Lab is not for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that first month. After 14 days, and for any later renewal, there are no refunds. You can simply cancel and your access will end at the next billing date.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a service we provide is faulty you are entitled to a remedy under that law.
The Lab includes posts from other members. We do not endorse them and they are not professional advice from us. Treat anything you read in the member area as a starting point, not a recommendation for your specific situation.
The Lab is an education and training membership. It is not legal, financial, tax or accounting advice. Toby is not your lawyer, your accountant or your financial adviser. Get your own advice before you make a decision that affects your business.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with The Lab is capped at the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity or lost data. This clause does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
You can end this agreement at any time by cancelling your membership. We can end it, with reasonable notice, if we stop running The Lab, or immediately if you break these terms in a serious way. When the agreement ends your access ends.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will let members know by email or inside The Lab before it takes effect. If you keep using The Lab after a change, you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any dispute.
